What Troubles You?

What Troubles<BR>You? #01
The prospect of talking to a stranger about what troubles you can be daunting.

You may have times of feeling low, confused or directionless but find it easier to brush these feelings aside.

It may be more serious in that you feel deeply broken hearted, that your life is utterly pointless or that you can’t get through the day without a drink.

Whatever the nature or level of your difficulty, therapy can provide a non-judgemental and confidential space in which you can open up to whatever confuses or pains you.

As you tell your story, you will gradually gain an understanding of the influences that have shaped your life and, thereby, the roots of some of your current struggles.

Together we can look at the issues underlying those struggles.

Through this mutual exploration you may discover fresh understanding and recognise that a wider range of choices is available to you.

This process may include grieving and healing wounds new and old and accepting, bearing and caring for that which cannot be fully healed.

I believe we all have the inherent capacity to lead rich and fulfilling lives, including the ability to create full and satisfying relationships.

Therapy can help you to free up whatever is blocking that capacity and to discover meaning and purpose in your life.
